The cocking handle is too short, so the bolt gets flying past it when I try to cock it. Would a MG3 bolt solve the problem? Would it work in a MG53?

I couldn't find it. Any links or leads would be appreciated.

Lengthened the ejector rod, should work. I dry tested it and it worked like a charm.

I can't find a spring (or order one) that fits in the rear buffer. I've tried something else. My bakelite stock fits just fine.. I'd just like to add a wooden stock as it seems more authentic. I've got a CRA mg42. I don't know what would be best.

currently I am using a 2 piece blank firing barrel and am using the rollers in the bolt again.

This is exactly what I thought would work. I'm gonna look around for springs over here, in stead of ordering from overseas but I will keep it in the back of my head. I tried piecing a pipe to do the same but this is sure to work way better. I will give more updates as we work down.

I am running a Full auto original mg42, the barrel has been threaded and it has a nut in the end to build up pressure. It is a 2 piece barrel. I am Dutch.

I use the Rollers for shooting brass " austrian " blanks and I take out the rollers so it works on the cheaper plastic blanks.
