Count me in, when ready for delivery.
Any required modifications in order to prep the receiver section that will house the kit?

Wise Lite Great Customer Service
This past Tuesday, I noticed that the Recuperator Nut on my M53 had fallen off, most likely after my initial test fire, from Saturday! I know while cleaning the weapon I did not noticed it  Got on computer and emailed Wise Lite , along with a picture, to higlight my issue. A few hours later , ...

Re: Test Firing My New M53
Thanks for the feedback Gentlemen, I removed the black paint by sanding the stock with a light grid paper and steel wool. Then applied some Minwax Wood Finish (Cherry 235). This process took a couple of hours to complete during one evening. The grip came with the weapon that way: lucked out! No it i...

Re: Test Firing My New M53
Purchased it from my local gun store: it took them less than a week to receive it.
Came in a crate, new in pristine condition, without a single scratch and a great finish, with extra belts in an ammunition can.

Test Firing My New M53
Test fired my new M53 and put over 500 rounds of surplus 308 through it.
Sprayed it with a light coat of Lithium Grease, along with some unwanted small amount of dirt and sand:day was windy.
Did not have any major issue, and it ran like a charm.

Gas Gun
Check the California Historical Group (CHG) Website: under German units, the 12th SS just mounted a similar gas gun onto the ir halft track and used at their last battle at Camp Roberts.
Quite impressive when it fired against Allied Vehicles.

You are better off getting one from Allegheny, which comes with a nice set of repro sling straps: bought mine form them: placed my order over the phone and within a week received it, for $995.00 plus shipping. The straps from IMA can vary in their finnish: bought an extra set and ended with an old l...
