Where are the leftovers??

Anyone have any idea what happens to the leftover receiver pieces like the threaded nose piece or the other pieces that don't come in the current "kits". Aren't they just useless pieces of junk steel. I don't see any legal prohibition against selling bits of junk!!

Try owning 2 transferable MG42's twenty years ago and selling one for $1000, the other for $1500 and thinking you had just hit the jackpot in Las Vegas!!!!!

Just got my last 3 M53 kits from SOG.. Ordered them on Mon. afternoon. Got them on Thurs. PM. Great service and packaging. 2 barrels in good shape, 1 so-so. One bipod had a shroud catch broken off. All the rest of the parts were fine. Interesting that you get every single part including most roll pi...

Check my post on Southern Ohio Guns Yugo m53 kits. Total up the prices for all the individual parts less cut receiver and they'll total far more than SOG's $249.95 price tag. You aren't getting the whole cut receiver, just one piece. You are getting all other parts, ie: Gripstick, buttstock and buff...

SOG Yugo M53 Kits

Received a Yugo M53 kit from Southern Ohio Guns. The nice looking kit arrived double-boxed within a week. Contained nearly all parts except some small pins. Included decent 8mm barrel and bipod. Receiver piece was cut at trunnion and thru muzzle threads. That's the only piece of receiver included. P...

As a former Class 3 in the mid-80's I've been kicking myself a lot lately. Examples: Two FA MG42's, paid $1000 for one, $750 for the other. Sold one a sample for $1250 and the other transferable for $2000 and thought I was robbing the buyers!! Every now and then when I want to feel sorry for myself ...

BRP receiver arrived today

My BRP receiver arrived today. Surprised at how complete it is. Barrel latch, camming piece installed. Got the new made bolt carrier, bolt spring, new firing pin and a separate BRP designed FA bolt block. I've got a SA AR-15 style gripstick on the way as well. Now we proud owners of bright, shiney n...

I agree completely with Colorado1919. The NRA sold us down the river in 1986. What they fail to realize is if they give in one inch to the anti-gunners their precious Root pistols and flintlocks will be next!!!
