That weld was done with a Micro welding unit, under a microscope. The torch was a small size gas cooled handpiece with a gas lens and collet and a .020 tungsten ground to a long thin point. The only distance between a novice TIG welder and a good TIG welder is about 10 large bottles of argon. You need a lot of practice but not necessarily a lot of metal and filler rod.

Just opened my LMO 8mm Yugo barrel. Very well packaged; best I have seen yet. Bore was dark but the rifling is well defined. Unfortunately, the corrosion in the chamber , breech face, camming area and about 6-8 inches of barrel is just as well defined . The outside of the barrel IS in very good cond...

Received my back order from Sportsmans last night. They are dark green over dark grey over tan paint. Inside is solid dark red and they are in good-very good condition.

Received my 2 drums from Sportsmans yesterday and they were both dark green over dark grey over tan. Interior is the dark red and condition is good to very good.

Thanks for the Heads up... I just ordered the last Yugo for $110. All that is left are the German $ 135 and matched pairs in carriers for $325.

The three cans I ordered arrived last night. They were knock off ?? U.S.G.I. cans and the ammo was belted on Browning links. First can had a few bent at the neck but other than that, they look good.

Just received a MG3 DISA tripod from BRP @$450 . It 's not new condition, but close....
