Re: WTS: 8mm Conversions for Nato Belt Loaders
I have a number of the sets avail straight out of the stamping die. These need to be trimmed which should take just a few mintes with a belt sander or metal cutting bandsaw. All parts are laser cut.

.308 to 8mm belt loader conversions ready
After quite a delay and two vendors for the laser cut parts I finaly have a QTY of 50 of the nicely formed 8mm conversions to allow the inexpensive 308 blet loaders to be converted to 8mm. These are the same high qaulity stampings the other member was selling last year right out of the same set of s...

Re: PBB semi mg34 build
TNW has a patent on this paticular method of semi conversion and I in no way plan to cross any moral, ethical or legal line by offering their design for sale. All the parts shown here were machined for my own personal use. I believe a couple of other members here offers semi bolt and component servi...

Re: Weaponeer M53/MG42 Stick Grip
As for the 42 grip and bolt wise lite is using it looks kind of like the ones BRP make, as does the 34 conversion parts you are making look like the ones from TNW. Well since you brought it up the BRP grip is a welded up steel affair made from the original grip housing, alot more like the ones you ...

Re: Weaponeer M53/MG42 Stick Grip
sounds like a good plan, lots of folks would like to keep their original grip frame. I do have to ask looking back thru your old post why the AR fcg? I thought that was pissing up a rope ?

Re:
You know thats been bugging the crap out of me, a little over a year and a half ago I met Tony and Eric (mgs) at knob creek and showed them my grip housing which Tony looked at quite intently. He stated thay liked it and could probably use it in an upcomming project. He asked for my business card. T...

Re: PBB semi mg34 build
forgot to mention, I also placed a chunk of aluminum in the ejection port to keep the pieces of rec scrap aligned and avoid to much weld building up in that area also. Copper would be a much better choice of filler material for the eport and bolt channel but the alum seemed to hold up very well.

Re: MG34 Jig Rental
in addition to filling the area on the outside mentioned in the first post on this thread you also need, or at least sholud, weld up the inside of the rec floor to prevent the insertion of an unmodified FA bolt

Re: PBB semi mg34 build
this shot shows a completed semi auto rec and a bunch of scrap on a mandrell to help point out the area on the outside to be filled. The inside of the lower rec scrap has been filled with a large pool of weld just abof the large cross pin before it was slipped onto the jig http://www.thompsonmachine...

Re: PBB semi mg34 build
here is the area on the outside of the reciever that must be filled to prevent the introduction of a FA sear into the receiver. Its very important that this area and the one pointed out above be filled with weld before the rec scrap is rejoined to insure that at no point you have been in possesion o...
