Just got this. Its in gray and brown 2-tone Paint. Nice condition

It may look like theyr on a beach or something like that. Looks like sand.

So its a ageing that makes the color. I have a a few K98k's that have the same red color on one part, the releaselatch for the bolt i think it was.

So its just bad craftsmanship? And the scrouds who are more dark are done properly?

Ok, so if the scroud is in normal black on a panzermantel, does that indicate that the scroud is in a different type of steel than the ones that are in red, or is it just an other way the bluening is done?

The barrelshroud isnt in the right red color.

I would say that the main body is postwar.The arc i dont know.
