Re: grip stick difference between BRP and Wiselite
My Wiselite was a 1/4 inch long for the MG3 mount. Seems like some were longer and some no problem with fit, so sounds like no real concern for this spec in manufacturing by Wiselite versus an intentional longer length. Yes the BRP fits in opening of modified ejection slot.

Re: EOTECH mount for MG3/MG74?
Find old style AR15 carry handle rail mount with longitudinal slot. Near perfect fit in rear sight channel. Drill couple holes in AR rail and bolt in. $10 endeavor and just fine for EO.

Re: Receivers from BRP
New MG3 rails are wider/ extend further leaving less clearance for bolt to travel to and fro. I had to remove some thickness using belt sander. Just be careful not to remove too much.

Re: 2 Blanks boom, then nothing, nothing, nothing
Well, not sure how missed it, but looks like the top of the hammer was striking/dragging across the ceiling of the carrier. Removed a bit off the top and is now making a much cleaner clank when hammer closes on pin. Need to test to be sure.

Jumping in the documentary window, I recently came across "The War Zone" on Netflix. Several of the 19 episodes have some great shots of the 34 and 42. Also on NF, Secrets of the Dead: Deadliest Battle on invasion of the Soviet Union = good shots of the 34.

Re: 2 Blanks boom, then nothing, nothing, nothing
Happy Friday!!
Marknct= Thanks for your post and pics! What will that hammer shape do differently?
I put cut down MG3 spring in and now running about 80% booms, so some very good improvement :-). But still puzzled on that 20% Worth swapping out bolt head or barrel?
Thanks

Re: 2 Blanks boom, then nothing, nothing, nothing
Using same blanks in Wiselite with absolutely no issues, so very confident it's not the ammo. #1- I am using the semi spring and wondered same about bolt body not being completely forward. Cant see/feel anything in regards to #2 or 3 and #4 -it is a one piece pin design. I'll try a cut down MG3 spri...

Re: Best way to complete Cam plate rivet?
Thanks 42 and Phil!
I had actually completed step 1 in with same method :-). Sorry my post was not clear.
So, looks like heating tip red hot, then pounding is way to go. Will give that a try.
Thanks!!

Disassembly of wood yugo buttstock components?
Need to separate the metal "cup" from the wood buttstock for a project. How best to do this? Does the push button unscrew, then the nut at base of cup to release the wood stock bolt? Thanks.

Best way to complete Cam plate rivet?
Started pounding in the long rivet and it started to bend within the plate window. How should this be done?
Thanks!
Thanks!
