Unless by plugged you mean that the chamber has been filled with weld and they got some on the barrel extension, it should unscrew. There are no variations of the process of putting the two together. Need to remove original door and fit a replacement door to my my42. Got correct rivits from brp guns
Is there any body out there had any experience if flatting rivit heads out to match originals
Is there any tried and tested techniques?

Some have flat bottoms shape ends at threaded base end. Some have sloped softer base ends making them look less shape and more angled/softer....
