Re: Interesting MG42 flash hider

I am familiar with the early one with the extra ring as I do have one of those as well. I haven't seen one quite like this one though where the upper ring was a smaller diameter.

Interesting MG42 flash hider

Got this one in a batch of parts the other week. It is different than the others I have or have seen as the top ring is a smaller diameter than the other three. There are no markings on it. Has anyone seen one like it and what can you tell me about it if there is anything significant. Thanks. http:/...

Thanks for the heads up. Whats the best way to tell the slab side fakes from the original?

Unique MG-42 flash hider

Going through some of my kits and one of them had this flash hider shown below. From a little research on here this afternoon it looks like it is for an early MG-42 or what someone on here called an MG-39/41??? Would this also be correct to go with the slab side charging handle? What other unique pa...

Re: BRP semi trigger pack help needed!!

Well with a little more help from BRP after sending them pictures (Thank you BIl for that suggestion by the way) I have it figured out. I was under the assumption that the grip stick twists and locks in to the cutout for it but it twists into the back of the ejection port and slides back into positi...

Re: BRP semi trigger pack help needed!!

Rear mounting hole is in the correct spot. I checked it against the prints and against an original German receiver. The grip housing is around a quarter of an inch longer from the rear mounting hole. I called BRP today on this issue and was told that their should still be a web there. Based on their...

BRP semi trigger pack help needed!!

Been a lurker for a while here (Fantastic website by the way!!!) and am starting to work on a semi build and I am coming to an issue that isn't making any sense to me. I am using one of the older BRP dummy receivers and utilizing one of the BRP alluminum pistol grip assemblies. According to the prin...
