WTS SS Room Blank only MP40
I am wanting to sell my SSR Blank fire only full auto MP40 machine pistol. The SSR Mp40 is a ATF approved design and can not be made to fire live ammo as it chambers the ammo backwards. My blank gun was the 24th gun made of the initial first run of 25 gun. My blank gun has been used in many WW2 reen...

WTS Reenactor/Shooter QVE45 K43 Rifle
I have a mismatched QVE 45 shooter with a repro hardwood stock. The rifle has been inspected by Apfeltor and used very little since then. It has his reproduction gas system parts, shooters kit, and is blank adapted by removable set screw in barrel. It works good with blanks(Atlantic Wall) as well as...

Top cover opening after firing on M53
I have a Wiselite M53 that had a Yugo top cover originally but I changed it out to a Mg42 Top cover. The gun works great except for when I switched the top covers out. The top cover is popping open when firing blanks. I have not fired live ammo with the WW2 top cover. Any ideas?

Re: Looking to buy a few MG34 accessories
I don't know of any vendors here in the USA that sell these parts. I have one from the link below on my sidecar MG mount . I am sure he will sell you just the lager and not the whole assembly. If he won't split it up I believe I have an AA extension pipe minus the head that I could sell you. http://...

It looks postwar because of the part number marking.

Re: Take my WLA M53 and fix it!!! Please
I have worked on a few that belong to members of my reenacting unit. Are you loading it correctly per the wiselite manual? Do you have the wiselite troubleshooting guide? The proper way on a wiselite is to 1. Open top cover and make sure the lever on top cover is on the correct side(wont close if no...

Re: wise lite semi auto inch longer?
The earliest wiselites were different. They had a much shorter bolt extension, longer spring and used a regular unaltered buffer. They sent out a recall letter to buyers to repair them for slam firing if I remember correctly.

http://www.oldtimergarage.eu/store/prod ... ts_id=2698 and the mg42 adaptor. It is also the same part used on the Lafette AA extension and motorcycle MG mounts If it is one of the newer AA mounts some machining will be needed.

Re: Lafette Mount Conversion
The best mount for dual use would be the WW2 style AA tripod. You can use either, if you have both parts and only have to remove 2 bolts.

Re: Lafette Mounts
The WW2 style Yugo mount will be worth more then the other one. They were selling for $700-$1000. Sarco flooded the market like 2-3 years ago and they went down to $500. They have dried up. The German Mg3 mounts have been the same price for a while.

Re: M53 Ammo Question
I use 50's Yugo in my M53 and it runs good with no issues. I believe BRP sells a extra power firing pin spring that resolves this issue for people that have it.

Re: VW type 82
The mounting hardware is pretty much universal, just change the adapter. The same example comes into play with motorcycles. You would see mostly MG34s and sometimes a Mg13/15. I have seen 1 photo out of thousands that had a MG42 mounted on a FJ Bmw R75 or Zundapp KS750. So was it done? quite possibly.

Re: MG42 lafette disassembly
It is off more then the paint, i would say about a 1/2" or so. The block on the gun is further up on the wiselite since the reciever is longer.
