The trommelhalter was selling for $295 also at MGS, now out of stock.

I see your point, but if the bolt extension doesn't hit the buffer, what stops the bolt in its travel other than the recoil spring at full coil bind?

I noticed the Wise Lite receiver is about an inch longer behind the cover, than my BRP. I assume that's to fit a full (not cut down) recoil spring? Any other reasons anyone know? Can a post sample gun be deactivated by a single saw cut? Even with the semi features added I don't think that a single saw cut would be acceptable. If it was destroyed by current BATFE regulations there would have been at least three torch cuts through the rear section, and that receiver doesnt app...

My guess would be your firing pin protrusion is too great. This condition thins the metal in the primer to the point that the pressure during ignition blows right through it.
