Only pictures I have from dealer, need more comments thanks for yours does look too mint that worry so me but the dealer is good but I don't want a expensive mistake! Is there a clue in the markings th waa Mark is correct I believe

So my buttstock is original ww2 German later painted by the yugoslavians as it has 5 bands not six so i do not need to replace it. only remove the paint, will look it up on the forum how to do it. thanks for the link to the serial numbers i was looking for that!

Thank you all for input, 42rocker thanks for the information about the The wire wrap on the stock having 5 wires and being German, the butt has the matching number as that on the to cover so the yugo's painted it black? what is the best way to remove the paint?

Hi Guys Here is my MG42 all parts are ww2 except the buttstock Yugo??? and buffer? the buffer could be german? as it has a eagle stamp. but they do fit together with no gap? let me know what you all think i would like to fit a original buttstock where can i get one? as apart from that the gun looks ...
