ic ic. i say there m98s, they are made in Yugoslavia off the the same dies as the K98s because they where left there after Nazi Germany got pushed out. They looked the same to me as the K98s, but ill look more in depth into with the info provided here. Thanks all for your replies i appreciate it.

i don't own a MG42 but after looking at the buffer i have an idea u might like to try.
