Clean the barrels out with hot soapy water before using regular cleaning solvent and they will tend to grow much less crap in the bore. Using soluble oil (machine shop coolant oil) in the water will keep the jacket coated with oil and that helps the jacket drain better. I still like Bobs hair dryer...

Why did it not work on the R12
All kidding aside, why was it a failure on the R12. I just brought a Dnepr MB650 and I happen to need a mount for my semi MG42. The Dnepr has a tube type mount already in the sidecar but it needs the extension, would this work. Or does anybody know where I can buy one. Thanks for any info. Happy Tra...

cost for 3 cut
Look on the for sale on this web site, you need 3 posts, I just bought a 3 cut receiver without parts for $800. A saw cut would probably be more. Also check out Gunbrokers auctions. Good Luck .

WTK Any good or bad news about XMG M16/mg34 made by BRP guns
Does any body have any experiece with these good or bad. I have the bug to buy something, would like to get both a Mg34 and MG42 but can not have it all, the XMG seems like a good compromise, shoots full auto with a M16 lower but is still mostly an original german gun, but a original WWII German kit...

I bought the sarco kit for $200 and a yogo tripod, now I got have a real german kit with lafette tripod, how much are german kits with a cut receiver worh. Thanks for any info.
