WTB. Soviet 50mm mortar bipod elevation crank or whole bipod
Hi all, I'm looking for an elevation crank for the Soviet 50mm 50-PM 40 mortar to replace the missing unit on my registered mortar. I'll even step up and buy the whole bipod if necessary. Any leads on parts for these mortars would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Everyone... http://i.imgur.com/LOFE3SH...

Re: Another NFA C&R Form 4467 Question...
Thanks for all the reply's fellas. As stated in my first post it's a C&R listed mortar and I'm a C&R FFL holder in a DD friendly state so it looks like everything is a go. Just need to get started on the paperwork and start the long wait.

Re: Another NFA C&R Form 4467 Question...
Thanks jbaum, I should have specified that I am a 03 FFL holder. So I guess even though the device isn't currently on a F4 it still transfers the same. Good news!

Another NFA C&R Form 4467 Question...
Hey Fellas, I'm getting into uncharted territory with this one. Here's the scenario, I'm looking at purchasing a C&R eligible mortar from a non-licensed out of state individual. The owner has the original Form 4467 that he received when the mortar was registered during the amnesty. I'm in a DD frien...

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
I heard back from Sarco and they've been really good helping me out with my bent up tripod. They are even reimbursing my shipping costs for returning it. But after getting a lemon the first time, I'm kind of hesitant to roll the dice again and have them ship out another.

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
Awesome....I must have received the only full on Yugo lafette Sarco had. I'm currently waiting to hear back from their customer service to see if they can help me out with the bent legs and locks.

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
Nice score Pathfinder but I hate to tell you.....I think Sarco shipped my pod to you on accident. I'm sure you have no problem shipping it to it's rightful owner at your expense of course. BTW.... please use UPS, I think the FedEx driver stomps on my sprinkler heads for fun.

Hey Rocco1911...I saw your tutorial but I think all of the pics got erased during the last update. Any chance you could re-post them?

Hey Mike,
Yes, they are still available as of yesterday at least. Here's a link to the ad in pdf format. See page 4 for the tripods. http://www.sarcoinc.com/1-20-10%201-5.pdf

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
Thanks for the tips guys. I've emailed Sarco asking if the condition of mine is par for the course or if I just got a lemon. I have a bench top press to try and straighten them out with, I just need to find something that matches the O.D. of the legs so I don't flatten them out.

No problem D.A..... I'm still looking for some hardware. I'll even buy a complete trashed out carrier just for the sling hardware.

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
Thanks D.A. They don't have sharp bends but look a little "bowed" out. Any tips on getting them to straighten out without making them worse?

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
I received my Sarco Lafette today and they must be getting to the bottom of the barrel. Mine is complete but has seen some action. The head appears to be decent, but the rear legs are bent. I also noticed some rust scattered here and there and some of the adjustment knobs and locks might be a little...

Here are pics of the fittings used on panzerschreck slings. They look very similar if not exactly the same.

Good call D.A. Here's what I could dig up. First are pics of the LUX marked fittings on the MG42 single barrel carriers.

WTB.. mg42 barrel carrier sling or even just the buckles
I'm trying to make up a replacement sling for my panzerschreck and the crimped buckles on barrel carriers look very similar if not the same as the original schreck slings. If I can round up a couple of buckles I was going to try and use some DAK webbing straps to fab one up.
Thanks all
