Re: Semi grip, which one?
I bought the one from Brian. It's built very well, and I like it uses the original saftey. He pretty much wrote the book on semi MG42's.

I'd find a transferable or at least a TNW. Too much money for something that just sits there.

Re: In Memoriam, Our Friend Dan Bartha -- Angola
He was a true prince in the business. The one time I called him to order parts, we spoke for an hour. He was very friendly and informative. He and his family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Re: WTB MG34 parts kit
I have a nice one I'm thinking of selling. I don't have a price yet, but to be honest it won't go cheap. The days of $500.00 parts kits are long gone.

Thank you, 42Rocker. I was looking at the semi grips on BRP and RTG. They look like the same ones. Are they?

Okay guys it's been a while. What do I need to finish my 42
Excuse me guys but it's been many moons since I last posted. I'd been out of the loop due to work. Now that I have retired I want to finish my semi MG42. My receiver is all jigged up and ready to weld. That's not the problem. Over the years, I had to sell off my semi bolts and semi trigger groups. W...

Re: Need good gunsmith to replace Broomhandle grip frame
It's already blued.Antique Arms(I think they're out of business) restored it for me many moons ago.None of the parts match,so I taught I'd do something different with it.But if I don't parkerize it,I just might spot blue it.

Re: Need good gunsmith to replace Broomhandle grip frame
Yes,as soon as the replacement grip frame comes in,I'm going to make some calls. After it's repaired,I'm going to parkerize it.Oh,has anybody ever heard of removing the adjustable site, and replacing it with a fixed one. It's always coming loose, and it's real over-kill.
