i dont see any numbers or stamps on the outside of the stock.

when i get time ill take it apart and see if there are any numbers on inside.

it has a good bore. the lady at the gun shop where i bought it said the gun came with a bayonet when the guy traded it in. she was selling it seperatly. should i have bought it too? what is a bayonet worth? non-RC? does that mean non reconditioned? not much finish left on the metal just rust. would ...

here is one i picked up at local gun shop for $160.
not sure of its value but it shoots good.
barrel and receiver are only things numbers matching.
it has plenty of birds stamped all over it.

bil, it works fine with the rounded slots. i made one of the slots smaller than the others so
the barrel bearing would only go in one way.

are you using a german receiver you got from ima?
myself and other members have had this same problem when using a yugo buffer.
i ground the front of the cams in the receiver down with a dremmel and it works fine.

had a good time at the shoot. i found a few of the things i was looking for.

i never did find anyone that had the barrel guide sleeves for the mg42. i talked to a guy who said he had 5 of them on friday but one guy bought all of them,i guess ill have to make one on the lathe.

nice .50 gary. i think he was meaning to put the spacer inside the barrel bearing before you tack welded it,please correct me if im wrong drooling idiot. gary, did you cut the slots with a 6mm broach or do it another way? ive been trying to find another way to cut these without buying the 6mm broach...

can anyone tell me why the back section of the receiver is considered the receiver by BATF. when these guns were manufactured the barrel shroud and rear receiver where all one piece(a receiver),after they are demilled only the rear section is considered the receiver. so why is it considered a violat...
