Re: WTK; MG-34 Panzer mantel/Tanker Shroud retaining clip/o-
Thanks for taking a measure. I was planning on figuring out the thickness to use by checking the alignment of a notch with different thickness gauges. So far my plan is to basically drill out some sheet metal stock with a hole saw for the o-ring slightly larger than the od diameter of the shroud and...

Re: WTK; MG-34 Panzer mantel/Tanker Shroud retaining clip/o-
Wow thank you Phil. That really does help a lot. I will definitely have to post pictures if I decide to make one. If miminana has the clips that would make things so much easier. Thanks for posting the dimensions that also gives me a way to check miminana’s repo. Though I have also bought some of hi...

WTK; MG-34 Panzer mantel/Tanker Shroud retaining clip/o-ring
Does anyone have any good pictures of the MG-34 Panzer mantel or Tanker Shroud retaining clip/o-ring that keeps the cone from rotating? I could really use a visual and some dimensions so I can try to fabricate something or search for one.
Thanks
Thanks

WTB MG-34 Tanker Front Sight Mount or AA Sight Mount
I’m interested in buying an MG-34 Tanker Barrel shroud front sight/bipod mount assembly or the Anti- Aircraft sight clamp on assembly. At this time I’m interested in good condition originals, not the French-mens reproductions. Thanks.

Semi MG-42 Builders?
I was wondering if anyone here knew a good builder doing MG-42 receiver Semi re-weld builds. I spoke to Project guns and he said they weren’t taking in any work or receivers that aren’t the old Allegheny Arsenal 3 cuts . It's unfortunate though I appreciate their frank honesty. I’m interested in doi...

M-53? busted on border
I saw this on a foxnews.com slide show called, "Border Busts Turn Up Some Bizarre Finds". Somehow I don't think pea shooting semi autos going south are as bad as the obamanation makes it out to be if their getting real GPMGs and moving them north. here's the link: http://www.foxnews.com/slideshow/us...

Re: Ground Dug Laffete Restoration
I looked at some of his other videos and he seems to be tied into some local museum. If you check the video you can see a bunch of receivers and other ground dug stuff. I guess it would be fun working on it if you were someplace that has this local history. This tripod will need a lot of primer and ...

Ground Dug Laffete Restoration
Ever wonder about those ground dug tripods? Looks like the guy in the video does them from Eastern Europe. I just can’t imagine how restoring a ground dug is better then buying a Yugo Laffete or if it would sell. Can anyone translate what he’s saying? Link: [video]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRrj...

WTS 308 to 8mm Belt Conversion
WTS 308 to 8mm Belt Conversion I'm selling my 308-8mm loader conversion for $30 shipped. I don't remember how much I originally paid but this price seems about right. Since I got an 8mm loader I don't need it. You can e-mail me at omegareefmaster7@yahoo.com. The first "I'll take it" post or pm buys ...

Re: Probably Illegal MG-34 Receiver on Gunbroker
It is too bad that when all these people go to jail the ATF is just going to destroy it. According to Wiki the WaA4 means it's one of the following makers and year ranges: WaA4 Otto Sindel Berlin 1934 WaA4 Berlin-Suhler Waffenwerke Suhl 1937 - 39 WaA4 Berlin-Suhler Waffenwerke Suhl 1938 WaA4 337 Ber...

Probably Illegal MG-34 Receiver on Gunbroker
Looks like some folks on gunbroker want to go to jail for a 34 receiver:

At least to me this auction doesn't read like a legite Class 3 transfer.
