As for prices on semi MG just because it was "sold" on GB does not mean that seller completed the transaction.

Re: More Dumb MG42 7.62 Headspace Questions
Well, to answer your test result question. The test using one bolt head with and without the extractor got the same headspace results. No bolt lock up on the No Go Gage for all four barrels. Barrels number 1 and 2 would not lock up with the go gage. Barrels number 3 and 4 were a go with the go gage...

Re: More Dumb MG42 7.62 Headspace Questions
no wonder why I can't find any 7.62 barrels. People are buying up to 4 barrels for their MG. So what are the results of your test?Armed with my new Forster 7.62 Go No Go gave, I tested my 4 barrels with my 5 bolts.

Re: Make my own headspace gage?
Can I make my own Go, No Go Gages for matching up my MG42/3 Bolt heads and 7.62 Barrels? ? Yes. You can just use one live round and lock it by hand, with light push of a finger, rollers should lock. JBaum will tell you it is a rocket science but its really easy to check if you understand the techni...

Re: Bolt stuck
It's hard to see from the pictures, but the ejector bar seems to be in the correct position. Any ideas what went wrong? Even if it turns out I'll have to send it to someone more capable at this than me, I would like to know what not to do in the future. You have to get it out first then inspect the...

This is a good thread with working pictures, you pretty much need to do thisNickD wrote: LOL - ok, minus the rear receiver.

In my opinion these rear receiver only builds are a mess. You got to have some serious tools and skills.

Re: Bolt stuck
OP probably figured it out by now and is not posting the cause of the lock. Very typical for new members here, they come with a problem, we all gather to help them out and they never post again.

Re: TNW SA MG34 Failure to feed
The OP is clueless on how the TNW SA MG34 loads up initially. TNW only provided printed version of their user manual, I assume OP did not get that when he bought his second hand TNW MG34 "semi-auto" charging sequence: *Lock the bolt back. I use a plastic spacer in the ejection port to hold the bolt ...

Re: Bolt stuck
Heya Whilst messing about my MG, the bolt got stuck in the camming piece, and it won't disengage. I've tried pushing down the muzzle many times to no avail (goes down for only a few centimeters at most). Any help would be appreciated. Do you even know what few centimeters mean? Bolt rollers 'must' ...
