I still need to fit the stock saftey. I mixed up my own custom color of KG gun coat going for a dark blue black color. It matches a blued WWII 8mm NOS topcover perfect with the exception that the receiver isnt as bright since the metal was rougher to start with and I didnt feel like polishing it smoother (like one would do if you were blueing it.)
I sprayed the KG over parkerizing so I should be fairly protected from corrosive demons...
Im planning on taking more pics and detailing the process to help those still in the process. Hopefully, life will decide it wants to kick someone else in the ass for a bit and I'll get the time!
Remember, more frustration/work = more satisfaction when you finally get to success.
