What is done to the weapon in order to deactivate it in the UK?
Hi The barrel is retained in the gun by a hardened pin which runs up a groove on underside of barrel. The barrel cant be removed because of the pin. With the barrel held in gun this way it still allows the bolt and rollers to move like they were designed too. A short lenth has been cut of the bolt at an angle and the fireing pin removed.

My gun is fairly early as it is dated 1943 were as guns after 1943 were letter coded.
