mg34 recuperator

the recuperator spring sags under the weight of the gun about 1/8 inch and is very slow to return the barrel when depressd, would this cause failure for the bolt to come out of lock up, my 42's snap back

try getting some oil inside the recuperator and see if that helps. They're not supposed to by totally dry.

BRP has springs at a good price (10$) if you need to try a different spring....also, on a reweld it may be binding a tad inside the channel. I found a correct size drill bit (forget what size though) after my reweld was done as I had a slight bind, a couple passes with the bit through the channel fixed it.... Chris....
