Aluminium butt stocks - update with a pic post sand blast

I just sand blasted the one I got from DAN last night (its cool!) but what's the scoop on these things?
Im debating KG coating it OD to torment those looking for a green MG3 stock,
, but that will have to wait.
Anybody know their history?

FYI; Original finish was black paint, these were Portugese, they found the original WWII buttstocks rotted in the jungle wars they fought in the late '50s early '60s.

I think I'll go with Dan's suggestion - black. Maybe a few airbushed flames or skulls would look good. I did once paint "Front Towards Enemy" on a M1A match rifle stock....Hummm.
Something cool in KG coat, maybe a chopper theme - Im am afterall a white guy and its an arian gun - somehow I think it would blow up on purpose if I went with the bling bling ghetto look.

While were on an odd topic, gunslingerdoc's finish talk brought a question to mind....if I reblue my G43....how odd would it look to repark the parts that were parked?
, but that will have to wait.
