Darn. Well good luck at your next attempt. It will be interesting to know what they had to say on the mods. On the brite side it gives me more time to save up funds.

I was afraid they were going to pull this. It seems they are going to raise the stakes on you, what is the next mod they demand platinum FA bolt blocks? :shock:

Everyone I know that loves this hobby was following your intrepid journey and we appreciate your efforts immensely. I am hoping this gets out before the next AWB, it is just a real work of art, I can see why the tech department was impressed with the workmanship.

I read the ATF guys comment that he could remove the block and make it full auto--well that's essentially most converted semi auto's isn't it ? Don't most ATF approved semi MG42s have a block in the receiver that could be taken out?

I wonder how the block differed from the Century design?
