I have worked on building a semi-auto MG 42 since 2013 and with the help from some knowledgeable folks finally have it about ready to try out. It's has been a real learning experience to say the least. I hope to take it to the range soon and see just how well it will work. I have my fingers and toes crossed! Here are a few pictures just for grins.
