Mg42 Receiver
Mg42 Receiver
Hey guys I bought a MG42 a few months back. The receiver was gutted. I have a guy that has a receiver for me minus the bolt. To put a new receiver in do you have to cut the old one out and re weld ? How does it work? Remember I'm a rookie to this game. Any info will help. Thanks guys Jim

Forgive me, but I'm not clear on what it is that you're asking. Since the receiver IS the MG42, and it's welded together as one piece, I'm not sure what you mean by the receiver being gutted and wanting to put in a new one.
