The markings are light on the one clasp, but the other is crystal clear. The sling is mark 41 with three letters prior, that I cant remember right now. so I am thinking this is an MG34 sling.

WW2 MG42 SLing?
So I have this sling which I thought was Post War Yugo until about ten minutes ago when i was posting some items in the forsale section and realized it has Waffenamps on it. Is this an MG42 or MG34 sling? Let me know your thoughts as I am totally confused

If it fits with a MG42 gripstick by closing the hasp it fits either. If it will not close the hasp on your MG42 gripstick, it is for a MG34. I have both but the MG42 is a repro and the MG34 hasp will not close it with a MG42 gripstick.
