Is this correct, a coded 42 CRA NC with serial numbers over 1211 is made in 1945 while lesser serial numbers are 1944?

Check out the following
viewtopic.php?f=39&t=1830
Top part is missing however I believe that we were able to restore most of it at the bottom. You can also check out his website for dates. However it's in German. That said the date charts you can figure out.
Also my mg34/42 book is at home, I'll try to find it and check this out later, but Kata has more info in the above.

Re: Markings & Code
CRA is the code for Maget. NC is the code for 1944. Your MG42 was assembled at Maget in Berlin during 1944.

For more details check this.
download/file.php?id=9519&mode=view
Shows the above is correct and more. However it also shows that NC was also used for 1945. But because you also stated cra it is limited to only 1944. Like check it out..
Also your serial number should have a letter at the end of it I believe (help) that the Germans went to 9999 then used the next letter of the alphabet. Then start over 0001a to 9999a then 0001b and on check your letter then the above grid.
