Hi guys just some quick pics.
I never liked the FAL trigger in the gripstick its too narrow , looks way wrong, and was traveling too far back and causing me some hang-ups and trigger slap.
So i cut an original and welded it over the FALs and then notched the original JUST enough to release the hammer . i feel it was a big improvement and since i'm posting pics today thought i'd share.

That is cool I was sizing up the same idea last night to see if it would work. You have confirmed my thoughts on that thanks.

Had the idea when I did mine. This is how I did the dustcover and also how I did the grip attatchment. The dustcover work just like the orginal. This holds the grip alot better than others I have seen. Just posted If anyone wants to use on there build.

Looks good! How did you get the dustcover to operate? Thanks. ---bil

Look at the new piece of metal that is larger than the orginal area on the dustcover latch. I put a screw in place to hold it in place. Later, I went back and had it welded in place. The bolt hits it and opens it just the the orginal. Cool hun.
