I just came into some extra $$$. who has the best deal on ground tripods? As of last week RTG was not shipping yet and this money is burning a big hole in the pocket of my best jeans.

, if you want post war one just ended at ebay for 330+shipping so shop around and you should be able to find one for around 400 with optics

Buy the original style yugo or ww2. They are more collectable. You should try to get am MG 3 mount too although not rare yet they are very nice and will be gone at some point. right now AA in PA had the pod with the AA adapter for under 900.00 I believe.

There is also a guy in SGN that sells original WW2 lafette, I hear they are NICE!!! They were re-painted post war just move the bolt box and the original paints are still underneath.

I will look thru SGN and post the vendor.

MG34.com sells wartime Lafettes that were reworked post war. They look nice, but have a bucket of kerosene to wash off the preservative grease when you get it. The ones I saw had the data plate on the searching fire device (repro plate, I think).
