The feed tray will have to have both ears pionting away from each other, plus the forward ear (barrel end) will have to be about half as long to fit in the small latch. D.I., if one of your feed trays matches, I would love to buy it, PM me. Image

I want one too!!!!! You know, we are like a bunch of kids; one kids gets a new toy and eveyone else wants one, LMAO

Serioulsy, that is a NEAT looking drum. Does it have any marking on it? The handle looks very similar to the WWII Drum and I am glad you posted the pictures! Can you provide any diminsions of what the Feed Tray lips need to be and I will check mine and let you know.

Back to the REAL subject, where did you get it and how much!

Ok abbe, I got it from germany , and it cost 10.50 euros.... plus shipping.....and it took 2 mos to get here!. The dims for the tray are not needed, but remember the lip on the barrel side has to face the front of the gun, on all "our" trays, both lips face the butt of the gun. Plus, you notice there is no sunk in area to accept that rolled lip that our trays have  .......this will be interesting. The guy did say it was for an MG3 or the "swiss" version (MG74).

I stuck some pics up in the general mg42 section - I have a few and can get more (theyre already in the states) but I have no idea what feed tray fits them - none of mine do. Incidentially, I can get about 15 more for about 30-40 each, possibly less.

They are made for 50 as I understand
They are also only made for use when moving.
Always load with 5 or more belts in ammo cans when not moving
