Robert they can be made to fit on an altered 8MM tray but its a poor fit.
for a metal 308 drum this is the goods,

Those German MG1 .308 drums were extreamly rare for many years. Of the few I had seen over the years most were bought by Germans for stupid money (way too much). they are different then the swiss drums, I have a couple of the swiss ones and you can modify a .308 feed tray to use them.
