Postwar Lafette 42s

Post by rats25 »

Were the Yugo post war Lafette 42s actually manufactured by Yugoslavia or were they just refurbished WW2 equipment?

If they were newly manufactured, do the parts interchange with the WW2 models?

Thank you.

The ones that I have seen were refurbished WWII equipment.

I have one that I purchased from Mg34.com. I have disassembled it completely to bead blast and repaint it.

I was unable to find 1 single waffenamt or German marking even on the smallest part. Either they are experts at erasing the origin or they are Yugo made. It has a lot of BK stamps.
