Post by Damien Horn »

HERE'S THE 2 DIFFERENT MOUNTS, I GUESS THEY ARE SOMEWHAT ALIEN TO YOU GUYS BUT THEY WERE ALL OVER THE PLACE HERE DURING THE WAR. EVEN WHEN I GOT INTO THE TUNNELS THERE WERE AROUND 50 OF THEM STACKED UP. TODAY NONE REMAIN.

Awesome pix, thanks for sharing! Chris.... Must be a great place to be a tunnel rat? Are there still a lot of things to see on the islands? How does one get to the islands? I presume a ferry of course? Chris....

Hi Chris,
There's loads to see here, we have more concrete than the adjacent French coast, we were Hitlers impregnable fortress, bunkers, tunnels all over the place. Not a lot to find these days though. As for getting here, you can fly or ferry in to here from England. If your passing its well worth a visit.
Damien.
