TNW MG34 wont fire with trigger, striker releases on unlock

I have a new 34 that won't release striker with the trigger but when I remove the bold and cock it by hand and then unlock it, it releases the striker. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Did you check the release bar that works off the trigger to insure that the two rollers are intact? If the pin on one of the roller comes out then the bar cannot release the firing pin sear on the bolt.Harry

I took the bolt out and manually cocked the bolt It fires on the unlock stroke. When I cycle the charging handle on a cocked striker, it releases .

OK Thank you. Got the rear catching the striker working Now onto the trigger. I'm going to now look into the rollers as the trigger bar does not release the sear.
