engraving on a rewelded MG34

engraving on a rewelded MG34

Has anybody given any though to marking their rewelded SA MG34 as a semi auto to avoid any hassles when out shooting?

if it makes you feel better inside, yes. the ATF could less how you have it marked--it's not against the law to build your own gun w/ or without marks .numbers or a picture of your grandmother on it.

If you did,I think I would do it on the top of the receiver,where the topcover will cover it,but it would be easy to show if asked. ---bil
