TNW sear ring and sear

My sear ring broke and took out my sear so i called TNW and they where great about giving me a new one but now both pieces appear to be hard and the sear jumps off the sear ring causing so called doubling,it is not usable as is,it will not stay engaged when locking up releases the firing pin each time ,the old sear was soft and dug into the sear ring. any ideas would be great. does anyone have one of these that has fired 1000's of rounds, everyone i talk to has short lived succes with the TNW mods.

talked with TNW and they told me that a few non heat treated sears got out and i had one of them, the sear ring was eating it up before the sear ring broke, the new pieces are both hard, but the sear jumps off the ring, they said to polish the sear so it digs in better to the sear ring, will do monday at work to see if this helps
