Converting the trigger to semi auto is fairly simple, you need to grind a slot and drill 2 holes to install the trigger rollers. the only hard part wil be drilling the holes as the trigger is glass hard, so a carbide bit is a must.

First step is to grind off the tab on the back of the trigger as shown in the photos.

Next the rear of the trigger needs to be opened up for the rear roller, you can do it with a cutoff wheel in a dremel.,
the slot needs to be .200" wide to fit the TNW rollers

Next 2 3/32" holes need to be drilled for the roller pins,
The front hole is .165" in from the front of the trigger and .145" down from the top.
The rear roller hole is in .190" from the rear and .129" down from the top

The rollers are .280 Dia and .197 thick with a .094" hole

An alternate method that may work is to fit a piece of teflon or nylon in the trigger slot for the trigger to ride on. I may try this to see if it works.

Did you ever see if the nylon or tephlon (SP?) in the trigger slot worked? Is there a sticky on US parts compliance with the SA Mg34? Thanks

Moderators: Is there anything you can do to get the pictures back up?
I too, have a keen interest in this tutorial as I am just getting around to building my 34.
I have Pirates receiver and the bolt work finished so now I'm at the trigger.
Any assistance would really be appreciated.

Why can't you see pics -- several reasons

1st this site got hacked -- lost pics
2nd during an upgrade -- things went bad
3rd folks have used off site hosting -- after time some hosts take pics down
4th some folks have changed their minds on what they share.

There -- 4 reasons -- I'm sure there are more but those four are the basic reasons.
