I can't believe that no one replied to this!! I would think think a shorty MG34 OR MG42 would be fairly popular! The 1919a4/a6 shorties are fairly common! I have a shorty 1919a4, and i love it!! I would love to have a shorty 34 or 42! A regular over on weaponeer.net forums has a shorty mg42! You are probably right, you may have to open up the booster hole!!

BRP has '34 shorties - for a $1000, your '34 will look like a MG 41!

I have one & it's awesome.

Corection,
His "shorty" MG34 will look similar to either an MG34/41 or the MG34S.

There are stil a lot of differences in these series guns (MG34/41 and MG34S) in a lot of areas as listed in "Folke's" book on the MG34 and MG42.

I had Brian at BRP do one for me at a cost of $1200. It shoots loud and has a larger fireball.
