I speaking with a RKI about his TNW 34 (which is absolutely beautiful) today, he mentioned that parts wear was significant.
High points:
10K rounds was about the max service life for MG 34, SA included.
bolt parts/internals (less the SA trigger parts) start off as worn (a problem with many surplus parts gun builds) and replacements are hard to find - ie, good ones.
He has quit shooting his SA MG 34 due to the scarcity of good/new parts. Apparently hes gone thru several parts (rollers, ejectors, etc) with his TNW semi.
