Right Hand feed MG34

I was watching Die Deutsche Wochenschau and noticed some footage of a MG34 firing with the ammo feeding from the rightside. I thought that maybe the film negative must be reversed but then noticed the charging handle and rear sight were in the correct position. How does this work mechanically? I have heard that the feed block can be removed andinstalled on the other side but what about the feed tray?

The feed mechanism in the to cover is opposite. It is reversed and was used on the zwillingsockel also. It was a twin mount for the 34. The part commands a premium, around $200 is the lowest I have seen.
