Post by byf41 »

Hi, I'm new here and I just purchased a MG-34 and a MG-42 but they havent arrived yet. I would like to get a Exploaded Parts Diagram with the name of the parts so I can figgure out what I will have missing when I get them. Is there something like that on this forum? I'm new to the German MG's :D :D :D

I know what you're thinking guys.... I had BYF41 write the message so that I could tell everyone about the manuals..... no, no, no, no I really didn't. hahahahahahahah

BYF41 - check my website listed below. what you're asking for is what I'm selling, plus a whole lot more. I presume you bought parts kits, and not the actual live guns.... If you bought both live guns at the same time, how do you feel about adopting an adult who likes guns and translates German?

Sorry jbaum I'm not that wealthy to be able to purchase the real thing (full Auto), but I do have a CAR-15 and a MAC-10 in full auto I've had since 1981. I would sell the MAC-10 if anyone is intrested at a great deal. I dont like it, it shoots too fast and cant hit s**t with it.

As for the manuals, yes I will purchase some soon but right now i'm getting behind on funds. I just got my MG-34 kit today and Man it is Beautiful!, It has a fresh blue job and about half of the parts look new and a lot of them are WWII marked. I really like the MG 34's small slinder shape better than the 42's but I like the 42's rate of fire like most people. Man aint AMERICA GREAT!!!!!!!! so far anyway.

One more question, Where are all these kits coming from? Kits of all kinds are selling like hot cakes?

Wealth has little to do with it... I saw what the prices were doing and went to the bank for a home equity loan... I'm still paying on it years later, but I made a wise choice at the time.

Marstar has exploded component diagrams on their website.
http://www.marstar.ca/mg34-comp.htm
Scroll down to the bottom to "MG34 components diagrams". The parts in the diagrams are numbered to correspond to their parts list ("parts" under the pic. at the top of the page). The prices are all in Canadian dollars. I've never dealt with them before, so I can't say how they are to deal with. I've mainly just used it for reference.

Hope it helps.
