Wow! that site has a ton of WW2 pics. I've reviewed pages 1 - 530 so far and the list keeps growing.

2nd You are right it's a mix of parts, mg15 and mg34, but what are their names? So you have started the ball rolling. What are the names?

3rd Strange Holder - well that's true also, more after someone posts the names of the two parts.

A DT15 doppeltrommel for the MG15 and a trommelhalter for the MG34.

Winner!!

However this trommelhalter was not made by the Germans during the war. It is one of the 2 (as I understand it) groups made post war. It's close but a copy however. I'll take several closeup pics to show you what this copy looks like. I wish that I had an original but this one will have to do for me. More pics later.

Well as it was told to me this trommelhalter was out of a group that mgs had made. Here are a few pics of it.
Radar a few years ago I told you that I would get you a few pics of reproduced trommelhalterm well here they are.
