Vorsatzfernrohr

Post by timarmitage »

Just seen this on ebay and it went for £852 I think because it has an adapter in it. I cannot seem to get the picture into the frame. The link is in the filename as an attachment.

Tim,

Looks like it sold today (30-March-2015) for 1,165-EU......$1,268.74 USD....on E-Bay.
The only difference that I can see is the "Adaptor"......a notched section of steel tubing (?).........It is clamped down onto the MGZ40 Optics and springs back open when un-clamped for removal.

Hello Tim

Rask Antik also has one for sale, the condition is not as good as the one you posted.

Jonathan.

Jonathan as far as I can see it doesn't have the adapter in it to allow the MGZ 40 to be used. You are right the condition is not as good as the one I have shown. I think the presence of the adapter was what made the one on ebay so expensive. When I was buying them they were only in the £300 area and they cannot have gone up so much but I may be wrong. Tim
