lube

Post by 2receivers »

Most of the advise given by the successful shooters here to guys having cycle problems is lube-lube and more lube.
What did the German shooter do/use when he had this problem???? [when in battle]--thanks

Well the German shooter had something going for him that most of us don't. An original non cutup re-welded mg34 that was "perfect". Then he had lots of training if lucky. Our re-welds sometimes are not in perfect alignment therefore slight problems which lube helps work through.
All of that said have you seen the oil cans and the big oil can that was issued to the German gunners? They were issued and also they cleaned their weapons a lot.
Other thoughts on this??

Gunners also had a little pot of "Flowers of Sulphur" to rub on moving parts as lubrication...

Try LPS 2...best I have ever used... LPS 3 is also available but can be a bit heavy in some guns. Leaves a waxy coating for protection as well.
