Yup, that's the one.... but I need it to not have REPRINT all over the pictures, and 300 dpi instead of 100dpi. At the 100dpi that the pages are, the pictures would come out really bad. The text I can make out through the REPRINT, but the pictures at 100 dpi are not good enough to use.

:)

Salt - Yup, I was going to translate it and reproduce it. I did the little one for the MP44 in English as a translation and in German as a reproduction. I figured I'd do the same with the G43 if I could find one.

thanks,

jbaum,
I'm sure you know the real deal trades in the 100/200$ range.G/K-43 and related are my main weakness? There are some re-pop books out there that are the same size,my son may have one.I am sure you could copy it if you wanted.
later,cz2.

I've seen a few reproduction manuals. The quality of the pictures was so bad that I wouldn't put out a product like that and have my name on it.

Sure, the manuals are available for around $200 (and up, actually). But if I sell the little manual for $2 like I do the MP44 manual, it'll take me 15 years to recover the investment of the manual. That's not a wise investment in any market.

If someone has a decent original and can scan it at 300dpi grayscale, please email the pic to me. If it's a photocopy with crummy pictures, thanks anyway, but no thanks. I try to turn out a quality product, and I can't make something better than it is to start with.

:D

Wow, this is an old thread. I've had the little G/K43 done for years now. I'm at 173 manuals translated from German, 1 from Swedish, and 1 from French. I have about 10 more sitting here waiting. :)

You danced around the 1st part of the Question..

How long have you been translating and printing these Great Manuals?

You also have a few nice posters 11 x 17 if I remember right. US & German translated.

My first translation was finished on January 1, 2005, so that's 13 years ago today.

The posters I have are printed on heavy, 11" x 17" card stock, and are available in high resolution (Lo Res is shown below), and of course, the real Navy poster doesn't have a black bar on it. I sell them for $5 each when at a show or reenactment. Online, postage adds $4 to the cost for the first poster (for U.S. addresses), after that, postage on the additional posters is free.
