I am looking for a reasonably priced demilled mg42 receiver set, just like IMA used to have.

Are you looking for the Rear Receiver Section that IMA was recently selling or the old complete receiver sections they were selling in the early 90's?

I am looking 2 sets of demils similar to the $135.00 kits they have recently been selling. I am not looking for any specific code or date, essentially I am looking for a rebuildable (SA) demil in the $135 - $235 price range depending upon condition and completeness.

I want to buy another rear receiver section like IMA had for sale as well. If anybody can point me in the right direciton I would appreciate it greatly.

I talked to IMI on Friday and they said that should get some more in with a 1942 date. They said the price would be about $225.00

and at first they said no, no more receivers, then after some prodding they said yeah but who knows when and yes there will be a price increase. Does anybody know someone who works there?

I have contacted IMA twice, once by phone and once by email. I have been told that they have received quite a few calls about the receivers. On the phone I was told that the receivers would be available in a week or two. The starting price would be somewhere around $225.00 upto maybe $500.00 (!) depending on code, condition, and date. I emailed them asking when they might be available and I have cut and paste a section of the email response:

Currently we do not have an ETA as to when they will be put up for sale, but when they are up they will be posted on the website first.

So, maybe we have a little luck left.
