Top Cover
GSD,
You are probably aware of this, but Angola Armory has the Yugo M53 Top covers showing on their website for $45. This should be the .308 Top Cover, but I am not 100% positive. Here is their link, go to the bottom of the page: http://www.angolaarmory.com/mg42.html
Edit - Almost forgot, give Brian a call at BRP; he may have some too????

DI,
Ive got mg1 topcovers, etc. coming out my ears. Im hoping that an MG-3 topcover will improve my reliablity with post war belts so I dont have to keep using my WWII belts.
Im hoping that starting with new or almost new parts I can get more reliabilty vs. using parts from several eras and origins. ??? Maybe Im wrong in thinking it will help but I wont know until I try

i just want to be clear ,
There is 2 basic top covers...
8MM = mg42 , mg1
and
.308 = MG2, MG3
if you have a .308 top cover you can run the MG3 tray with links.

Its amazing anything works right around here with a bunch of
