WTB MG3 Mount

Post by kadrit »

I am looking to buy the mount for the ring or double mount. I missed purchasing the one from rtg. I am willing to pay a bit over what they originally sold for. I am working on a project for adapting it to a m2 tripod and figure this is the best and easiest route to take. I would also entertain other mounting options for it as long as the trigger is unobstructed. I plan on modifying a gat crank to the trigger as well. Link for reference.

Double post has been deleted. :)

Years ago, I was the first one to get any of these mounts into the country. I only got a few, and posted them on ebay. All of them sold for $390 to $420. $99 was a good price for a very good mount.

ZIB isn't licensed to export military items, and I'm guessing, but you're not licensed to import them. That leaves it up to the people who are to get them. Sadly, that leaves doing it to those who legally are licensed, or those who fill out the Form 6 and get it government approved.

Me personally I do not have an import license. I know someone who does so I may have to go that route of getting one. Alternately I wouldnt be opposed to doing a form 6 and waiting for approval of it. I have also been looking at going the route of just buying the full ring assembly and mount from rtg.

I have one of jbaums mounts I'd part with. Let me see if I can find it.

Thanks Salt. I bit the bullet and got the full ring assembly. I would still be interested in the one that you have though. I got the 42 bug bad and have 2 semi autos currently possibly working on a third.

Finally found some time. If you still want it, $100 plus the ride.
