WTB MG42/MG34 Lafette tripod base, No cradle needed.

Post by IMBLITZVT »

Guys, I need a MG34/MG42 style Lafette Tripod base. That is the tripod part. I do not need the cradle (the part the gun sits in that is spring loaded. I could go either way on the T&E. Yugo is fine and actually would probably be better. No MG3 please. Bent/broken can be ok. The main thing is price. I can get a complete tripod with cradle for $400 and the cradle is the most expensive part. If you have something, please email me at phiteshe@vt.edu

Thanks!

Ask MG34.com. They where selling the parts they had left from the lafettes they assembled. Might have a complete bottom.

I might but if I can just find the tripod part... why deal with the resale.

Matt, I have been doing that exactly! I am mainly into Maxims. I have a list I send out and sell a good bit. If you want to split the cost with me on this tripod, I will sell you the cradle for $200! Hell of a deal! ???

I have a semi 34 and already have a fixed up lafette for it. I've been wanting to get a watercooled but funds are being saved every so slowly! Unfortunately, I live in Iowa so full auto is out of the question. I lived in Ohio for a short time and almost bought a FA34 when I had the money then I my job moved me to LA for three years then DesMoines. Looking at Ohio again if a position opens up! - matt
